Juicy with lots of bramble fruits and polished aromatics . Underlying savoury and herbal character with silky, supple black fruit. Soft tannins with hints of pine and vanilla on the elegant finish.
Goes well with grilled beef or lamb or robust stew.
Deep coloured and still young on the rim, the 2007 Azamor is powerful and aromatic, with perfumes of plums, chocolate and a touch of very ripe blackcurrants. On the palate the wine is robust and chunky, with tremendous structure, packed with ripe, rich fruit and a lovely spicy sheen from the French and American oak ageing. Long and fruity right through to the finish.
A very dark, brooding red but with plenty of appealing, juicy black berry fruit to make it approachable. Complemented by sweet, spicy, vanilla and chocolate notes and finishing with structured yet ripe tannins. A powerful wine with great concentration and complexity.
Good depth of colour, with attractive aromas of dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied with plenty of ripe dark fruit characters which are in excellent balance with the soft, rounded tannins.
