Deep coloured and perfumed, with aromas of rich fruit cake, dried cherries and plums which give way to a modern, rounded palate, full bodied but nicely balanced with concentrated plum pudding characters offset by an attractive smoky, vanilla spice from the oak ageing. Rich but still fresh on the finish.
Superb with roasted red meats.
Deep, ruby red in colour, with intense perfumes of cherry and chocolate on the nose. On the palate the wine has good depth and power, with a hint of dried cherries from the ‘ripasso’ vinification. Smooth and full-bodied, with a rounder style, lower acidity and fuller structure than a Valpolicella Classico.
The wine is rich and modern, with an attractive fresh perfume. Aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and hints of fruit cake. On the palate it is full bodied and rich, with cherry, vanillin and coffee flavours. It has well balanced tannins and a long finish.
Bright ruby in colour with perfumes characteristic of top quality Corvina – bitter cherries and a twist of raspberry. On the palate it has bright, lively fruit with good intensity of ripe, summer berries offset by a hint of liquorice from the Syrah. Long and elegant on the finish.
