Bordeaux winemaking philosophies from the foothills of the Andes . Intense garnet, ruby in colour with aromas of linseed, wood smoke and vanilla pods. Aromas evolve to exhibit characters of cassis, prunes and toast, whilst tannins are well integrated and rounded. An elegant and sophisticated wine that drinks well now and will keep for 5 years.
Roast meat, pasta and wild boar ragu or try with simple grilled steak.
Very good varietal expression with plum, mulberry and blackberry fruit on the nose. Quite deep and brooding with lush blackcurrant laced with dried herbs and spicy vanilla derived from its time in oak. The tannins are persistent but very fine.
Spicy white pepper and blackcurrant aromas, with tremendously rich red plum fruit and loads of pepper and spice and well integrated tannins.
Dense black cassis and bramble fruit aromas combined with plums, spice and a creamy oak on the palate. A fine wine with persistence, complexity and great purity.
