TASTING NOTES

Tres Naris Riesling is bright yellow in colour with tiny hints of green. The wine has aromas of fresh hay and yellow fruits. The medium bodied palate is fresh and invigorating, with lively acidity to balance the full, ripe fruit on the long, juicy finish.

This Purist is bright yellow in colour, with notes of peach, pear and apple on the nose. The palate is full but with crisp acidity and a very fine texture that gives a harmonious, elegant length. It has excellent intensity of stone fruit and apple flavours, but finishes dry.

    J L Wolf Wachenheimer Riesling 2009

This wine has a bright, stony fruit aroma that is drenched in peaches and apricots. It is medium weight but the apricot richness has a massive impact and a palate coating texture. The fruit has good persistence and leads to a long, drying finish.

There is also a stony purity that's characteristic of Riesling from the Pfalz and it carries through on the palate. Excellent richness and solid structure make this full and surprisingly powerful. It has good length, with a crisp dry finish.
