Rich aromas of black cherry and plum, and smoky, mocha notes. Ripe fruit flavours combine with a darker, more brooding, wild character and hints of garrigue which open up in the glass. Chewy and with ample ripe tannins but also a freshness and brightness making it approachable now but should age for 5 years or more.
Pair with roast lamb, good cuts of beef, or game.
Intense black cherry in colour with great depth of red fruit and eucalyptus on the nose, giving way to roasted coffee and caramel notes. Excellent structure with supple, ripe tannins and plenty of soft fruit on the palate. The suppleness of the Merlot acts as a foil to the more structured Cabernet which in turn, adds richness to the aromatic and delicate tempranillo.
