This entry level Loosen Estate Riesling embodies the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate soil Mosel vineyards at a very reasonable price.
Excellent as an aperitif.
Pale straw, clear and bright. The nose shows a range of intense youthful aromas of lemon, and orange blossom. The palate is impeccably clean, dry with refreshing acidity. Upfront flavours of pink grapefruit, sherbet and delightful floral notes. Finishes wonderfully fresh with excellent length.
Aromas of peach and apple. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is refreshing and juicy, with zippy acidity balancing bright flavours of pear, apricot and lime. The initial lush fruit flavors are followed by a long finish that is simultaneously fruity and tart, with palate drying minerality and mouth watering acidity.
Aromas reminiscent of ripe apple , tangerine , lime, white pepper, nutmeg, mace and flint stone. Light, vibrant, fresh and juicy with refreshing acidity and a complex, mineral and lasting finish.
