Lovely depth of dark purple colour with perfumes of plums and mulberries with touches of spicy cloves and liquorice. On the palate it is full-bodied and powerful, with explosive berry characters leading to a long and concentrated, spicy finish.
Excellent with red meat dishes.
Exceptional structure, a well balanced wine with soft chalky tannins and immersed with dark cherry and ripe fruit flavours.
Aromas of violets and peppercorns on the nose with touches of nutmeg, caramelised quince and mulberries. On the palate it is rich and smooth with soft, velvety tannins and flavours of fruit compote with savoury charcuterie notes. Juicy with medium weight and good balance.
An animated and bright nose showing flashes of black pepper and stone fruits. Rich and full bodied on the palate with flavours of blackcurrant, anise and mixed spice. The palate is multilayered and finishes with supple tannin.
