Aromas of violets and peppercorns on the nose with touches of nutmeg, caramelised quince and mulberries. On the palate it is rich and smooth with soft, velvety tannins and flavours of fruit compote with savoury charcuterie notes. Juicy with medium weight and good balance.
Excellent with roast beef.
Pale gold in colour this wine has aromas of lemon sorbet, dried mangoes, fresh figs and white peaches. Juicy fruit, cashews and meringue on the palate, with steely mineral notes with touches of dried pineapple. Tight, with soft tannins, good structure and length. Creamy oak on the finish.
On the nose, there is a complex mix of spice, campari, orange zest and juniper berries, along with ripe cherry, red summer berries and dark chocolate. The palate shows firm, bright tannins with a brooding texture. Wild blackberries and raspberries with a savoury long finish.
Full yet elegant with bramble fruit aromas, cassis and black cherry flavours on the palate and a touch of white pepper spice (more in the northern Rhone mould than Barossa brawn) - structure provided by fine tannins with a long rich, ripe finish.
