TASTING NOTES
Pechstein lies on the gentle east facing slope that extends from behind hte village of Forst up toward the Haardt Mountains. The name refers to the preponderance of black balsalt sontes in the soil, which give the wines a strong mineral backbone.
The wine presents itself with wonderful mineral aromas, intense fruit, high density, light notes of ripe fruit and a long finish.
