A very food friendly Sauvignon, exhibiting intense varietal aromas well supported by richness and palate weight. Additional complexity is added in the winery by ageing a portion of the wine in old French barrels adding weight and texture in the final wine.
Perfect with shellfish and other seafood dishes.
Bright, pale lemon-green. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas are backed by the characteristic herbaceous notes that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for. An exuberant wine on the palate brimming with flavours of pineapple, passionfruit, stonefruit and a hint of herbaceousness. The finish is fresh, zesty and lingering.
Pale green in colour, the perfumes of the Sauvignon Blanc are explosive. A blend of nettles, passion fruit and stone fruit combined with notes of cut grass. On the palate the wine is intensely rich with a multitude of flavours. It is held together with firm acidity, beautiful fruit sweetness and lashings of tropical fruit flavours. The wine has good length and is very persistent in the mouth.
A refreshing sorbet-like medley of fresh lychee, grapefruit and honeydew melon laced with flinty minerality and finished with an infusion of mandarin and lime zest. A lively, invigorating wine with persistent grapefruit flavours and a steely blackcurrant tang. Crisp with a long, enduring finish.
