The nose is ripe and openly fruity with hints of liquorice and raisins. The palate has a touch of spice, somewhat Syrah like, to balance the black fruit and ripe tannins - a wonderful balance of sweet ripeness and bitterness typical of Negroamaro.
Deep purple red with violet black reflections. Intense and persistent aromas that are full of blackcurrant and wild fruit scents and spicy with thyme notes. A full-bodied wine that is soft and balanced with a long, flavoursome finish.
Full bodied but still fresh on the palate, rich blackberries with a touch of chocolate, soft, ripe tannins and a good balance through to the finish.
