A dark, brooding wine with rich aromas of chocolate, mocha and ripe black cherries. The intense, savoury palate balances the weighty fruit with the ripe, supple tannins beautifully and finishes on a long, smoky, chocolate note.
Great with meaty pasta dishes.
Red fruit and spices on the nose, with plump ripe fruit on the palate. It is smooth and rounded in the mouth with good structure and length.
Nice depth of youthful colour, with perfumes of fresh black cherries. On the palate the wine is soft, ripe and rounded, with an attractive freshness which lifts the cherry compote flavours and accentuates its perfume.
Full bodied but still fresh on the palate, rich blackberries with a touch of chocolate, soft, ripe tannins and a good balance through to the finish.
