Deep red purple colour typical of this blend. A lifted nose of violets, blueberry and liquorice combines with a subtle note of musk and apricot from the Viognier. Cedar oak notes add complexity. A full, rich palate is reminiscent of dark fruits and chocolate with a long palate and crisp acidity.
Excellent with roast lamb.
Intense floral, spice and glazed apricot aromas on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced with good texture, creaminess and refreshing citrussy acidity. Lovely intense stone fruit continues on the palate with great length and character.
Aromas of violets and peppercorns on the nose with touches of nutmeg, caramelised quince and mulberries. On the palate it is rich and smooth with soft, velvety tannins and flavours of fruit compote with savoury charcuterie notes. Juicy with medium weight and good balance.
