Soft approachable fruit from 100% Montepulciano made in a modern , fruity style. With delicate aromas of strawberry and cherry on the nose and a smooth supple palate.
A medium bodied, warm, softly spicy red with aromas of damson and dried fruits. The palate displays light redcurrant flavours, lightly smokey notes and red cherry fruit on the finish.
This wine has all the characteristics of really good Montepulciano – incredibly deep coloured with perfumes of chocolatey and coffee on the nose. Warm, rich and spicy wine on the palate, it has great balance between robust chunky fruit and soft tannins and is similar in style to a good Australian shiraz.
