This wine has a perfumed nose with lemon sherbet, hints of stonefruit and flint. The palate is well balanced with delicate lemon, considerable minerality and hints of creamy citrus on the finish.
The 2008 Klevner is bright lemon-yellow in colour, with a fresh, clean nose of white flowers and peaches. The palate is medium-full bodied, with ripe, stone fruit intensity and an elegant citrus length.
This dry, elegant, fresh wine is lively, frank and refreshingly quaffable, ideal for all those who appreciate classic Riesling. All this and more; it has an agreeable fruit character of green apple, white peach, citrus, grapefruit and spring blossom. Will age beautifully for a good few years.
