Albariño
Albariño is a distinctive white grape variety best known for producing fresh, aromatic and elegantly crisp wines. Native to the Iberian Peninsula, it is particularly associated with Spain’s Galicia region and the Rías Baixas appellation.
Albariño typically shows vibrant flavours of citrus, green apple, peach and pear, complemented by delicate floral and mineral notes. Its naturally high acidity and refreshing character make it especially well suited to seafood, shellfish, fresh salads and light Mediterranean dishes.
