Verdicchio
Verdicchio is a distinctive Italian white grape variety best known for producing fresh, elegant wines with vibrant acidity and impressive ageing potential.
Native to the Marche region of central Italy, it is particularly associated with the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Verdicchio di Matelica appellations.
Typically offering flavours of lemon, green apple and pear, Verdicchio often develops delicate floral, almond and mineral notes, with a refreshing, slightly savoury finish. Its bright acidity and versatility make it an excellent partner for seafood, shellfish, fresh pasta, salads and light Mediterranean dishes.
