Limarí Valley
The Limarí Valley is one of Chile’s most distinctive emerging wine regions, located in the country’s northern Coquimbo region. Its semi-arid climate, low rainfall, abundant sunshine and strong cooling influence from the Pacific Ocean create ideal conditions for producing fresh, mineral-driven wines with excellent natural acidity.
The region is particularly noted for Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Syrah, with its limestone-rich soils contributing distinctive mineral character and freshness. Modern irrigation and careful vineyard management are essential in this dry environment.
