Maipo Valley

The Maipo Valley is one of Chile’s most historic and prestigious wine regions, located just south of Santiago and extending towards the foothills of the Andes. Its Mediterranean climate, dry summers, abundant sunshine and cool nights provide ideal conditions for producing wines with concentration, structure and freshness.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the valley’s signature variety, particularly renowned in the Alto Maipo, where higher elevations and Andean influences contribute to elegant, complex and age-worthy wines. Carménère, Merlot and Syrah are also important.
