Rapel Valley

The Rapel Valley is one of Chile’s most important wine-producing regions and a major contributor to the country’s international reputation. Located south of Santiago between the Andes and Coastal Range, it benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate, dry summers, abundant sunshine and cooling influences from the surrounding mountains and Pacific Ocean.

The valley is particularly renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère, alongside Merlot, Syrah and other international varieties. Its diverse soils, elevations and microclimates allow producers to create wines ranging from rich, structured reds to fresher and more elegant styles. With a combination of established winemaking expertise, modern vineyard management and growing investment in sustainable practices, Rapel continues to produce distinctive, internationally recognised wines.
