The nose is very much Chablis with an earthy, chalky element complemented by subtle mineral notes and a hint of green apple.
The palate is rounder in comparison, with ripe stone fruit, citrus and fresh herbs creating a vibrant mid-palate. On the nose, expect pronounced flint and wet slate aromas layered with delicate white peach and a whisper of hazelnut. The palate reveals concentrated lemon zest and grapefruit alongside those characteristic green apple notes, with a saline minerality that builds through the mid-palate.
The small amount of oak influence in this cuvée gives the wine a rounded, creamy texture, whilst old vines bring depth, complexity and a lingering finish with persistent mineral acidity that defines true Chablis character.
The finish is long and precise, with a distinctive oyster-shell minerality and subtle herbaceous notes that linger beautifully.
