The Red Slate Riesling has an intense minerality that is warm and enveloping with a floral, spicy aroma of citrus blossom. It is harmonious on the palate with a full, expansive texture and a firm peach grip to the finish. Very expressive.
This 2020 vintage demonstrates excellent ageing potential, with the structure and acidity to develop beautifully over the next 10–15 years. The mineral backbone will evolve and deepen, while the vibrant fruit character will gain complexity and refinement. Cellaring in cool conditions will reward patient collectors with an increasingly sophisticated wine that reveals new layers with time.
