Les Coteaux Côtes du Rhône Villages 2024 Boutinot Description

Immediately impressive, this wine reveals its class from the start. Brambly fruit underpinned by subtle oaky nuances, lovely sweet spice - warm star anise with a touch of cinnamon. This classic Côtes du Rhône Villages is enriched with specially-selected parcels from the cru vineyards of Séguret, Sablet and Cairanne.

On the palate, expect a harmonious blend of dark cherry and plum with hints of garrigue and dried herbs characteristic of the region. The wine displays excellent structure with well-integrated tannins that provide grip without overwhelming the fruit. A touch of white pepper and licorice emerges on the mid-palate, leading to a lingering finish with subtle oak influence and warming spice notes.

Best enjoyed at 16-18°C, this wine pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine, roasted meats, and aged cheeses. Drink now through 2028 for optimal enjoyment.
