Veneto
Veneto is one of Italy’s largest and most dynamic wine-producing regions, stretching from the Dolomites to the Adriatic coast. Its varied landscapes, climates and soils support an impressive diversity of wine styles, from fresh whites and sparkling wines to elegant reds and rich, age-worthy expressions.
The region is internationally renowned for Prosecco, produced primarily from the Glera grape, as well as Valpolicella and Amarone, based largely on Corvina. Soave, centred on Garganega, is another of Veneto’s best-known wines. Combining centuries of winemaking tradition with modern technology and sustainable vineyard practices, Veneto has established a strong position in international markets while continuing to develop distinctive wines that reflect its diverse terroirs.
